TTDEMs Spreading Fake News Again

The TTDEMs are spreading fake news again. They are falsely labeling the old congressional map as the new congressional map in their most recent Facebook post.

They are also showing a map that they wish to have the
Supreme Court impose (because it suits them politically) rather than the compact and fair map that our legislative leaders have actually now put forth to satisfy the Pa. Supreme Court’s standard. The legislative map presented to Gov Wolf fully complies with the Court’s opinion and should be approved.

The Supreme Court should not compound its usurpation of legislative authority by substituting redistricting maps that are politically favorable to the majority of justices.
The new map is in fact much more compact and keeps the vast majority of counties together. See for yourself at

Heather Boyd Greenberg sworn in as Chair of the Tredyffrin Supervisors

On Tuesday January 2, 2018, Republican Heather Boyd Greenberg was elected Chair of the Tredyffrin Supervisors.

Tredyffrin Township Republicans demonstrated bipartisan leadership as they nominated Democrat Murph Wysocki to serve as Vice Chairman of Tredyffrin Township. This spirit of bipartisanship extended in appointments of Democratic Supervisors to important committees.

Tredyffrin Township's Republican leadership delivered the fifth consecutive year without a tax increase. Tredyffrin Township leads the way in providing excellent services at a great price. By way of comparison, the residents of Democratically controlled Lower Merion and Radnor Township have effective township tax rates 90% higher than Tredyffrin Residents.

Full Steam Ahead in Paoli!

Our elected Tredyffrin Republicans joined other political, business and civic leaders at the Paoli Rail Station yesterday to celebrate the commencement of Phase I of the Paoli Transit Center, the first revitalization project in what is hoped will be a series on the AMTRAK Keystone Corridor in Chester County.

County Commissioner (and Tredyffrin's own) Michelle Kichline spoke of the glaring need for the project, and praised Tredyffrin's Steve Aichele for being a tenacious advocate over 25 years, locally as well as in Harrisburg.

Tredyffrin Board of Supervisors Chair, Trip Lukens, also spoke about the positive effect that the improvements will have on the town of Paoli and particularly its business community.

The dignitaries then gathered for the ceremonial "first shovel," kicking off Phase I.

After the event, our elected local Republican attendees posed in front of the shovel box.

From left to right: Tredyffrin Supervisor at Large and Vice Chair Sean Moir; Tredyffrin Supervisor Chair Trip Lukens, County Commissioners chair Michelle Kichline; District 3 Supervisor Heather Greenberg; District 1 Supervisor Paul Olson.

Congratulations and thanks to all who worked so hard to make this day a reality.

Community Day A Huge Success!

The Tredyffrin Republicans were honored to participate in the Party In the Park at Wilson Farm on Saturday to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of our first-class police force and the 50th Anniversary of our beloved library.

We talked to many of our neighbors and handed out fall candy to the children and election "swag" to their parents. We were thrilled to spend the evening with State Senate Candidate Jack London, State Representative Warren Kampf, our Township Supervisors and several of our School Board members.

The township provided excellent entertainment from burgeoning young rockers and vehicles of all types for the children to explore. And, of course, the evening fireworks were spectacular.

Many thanks to the organizers, the first responders, and the community organizations (private and public) that made this such a wonderful celebration. Tredyffrin showed what we all know – that we are truly among the best places to live in our country.

Thank you to to the Tredyffrin Township Republican Committee (TTRC) volunteers including TTRC Chairman Neill Kling, TTRC Vice Chairman Clare Jameson, Area 7 Chair Pat McHugh, T-E School Board Director Ed Sweeney, committeeman Rich Cordes, commiteewoman and ex-TE School Board Director Liz Mercogliano and everyone else who helped participate.

Tredyffrin Library Flag Pole Ceremony

For the past 50 years, the Tredyffrin Public Library has been without a flagpole. Flagpoles are common outside all American public buildings but was somehow omitted from the original construction at the Tredyffrin Library. U.S. Marine Corps Captains John C.T. Alexander (Ret.) and Robert Whalen (Ret.) worked to fix this omission. Thank you both.

CT Alexander speaking at the ceremony. He is a a Trustee of The Tredyffrin Township Libraries and helped organize the raising of the funds for the flag pole.
